These videos and transcripts are presented as background catechesis for the implementation of the new translation of the third edition of the Roman Missal.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops presents the Third Edition of the Roman Missal from the Committee on Divine Worship.

The Liturgical Institute is presenting catechetical material for the new translation called "Mystical Body, Mystical Voice."

Msgr. Bruce Harbert is the former Executive Director of ICEL and now continues as a consultant. He thus oversaw the committees working on the translation.

Monsignor James Moroney is a priest of the Diocese of Worcester, and currently rector of Saint Paul's Cathedral after serving as Executive Director of the USCCB Secretariat for the Liturgy from 1996-2007. He continues to serve as Executive Secretary to the Vox Clara Committee.

Fr. Anthony Ruff, OSB

Fr. Anthony Ruff is Associate Professor of Theology and St. John's School of Theology and Seminary, Collegeville, Minnesota. A musicologist, he has written on sacred music and liturgical reform, and is the founder and director of the National Catholic Youth Choir.

These talks consider the role of music in the liturgy, and looks at opportunities in the new translation.

Fr. Paul Turner, S.T.D., is a priest of the diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, and holds a doctorate in sacred theology from Sant' Anselmo in Rome. He is a frequent contributor to both pastoral and academic journals.
